We are currently supporting a major industrial player in the energy sector in the recruitment of an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a large-scale power plant construction project.
As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical and instrumentation works on site, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery in coordination with subcontractors and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise electrical and I&C erection activities through to commissioning handover
- Manage subcontractors to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Develop detailed execution plans aligned with the overall construction schedule
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment before execution
- Coordinate with engineering teams on technical documentation and site requirements
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and report to site management
- Ensure full compliance with QA/QC and EHS requirements
- Identify and resolve deviations, non-conformities, and cost impacts
- Manage as-built documentation and turnover packages for commissioning
- Support commissioning teams and ensure closure of punch list items
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
- Experience (MUST HAVE): Experience on at least 2 full-cycle power plant construction projects
- Strong experience in site execution and subcontractor management
- Solid understanding of power plant systems
- Strong technical expertise in electrical/I&C discipline
- Experience in multicultural environments
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Cost awareness and ability to manage trade-offs
- Detail-oriented with a “big picture” mindset
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- French is a plus
