EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is a key subsidiary of Edvance, dedicated since 2018 to the design and delivery of nuclear islands for new-build projects worldwide. We are currently leading major engineering milestones in the UK:

  • Hinkley Point C (HPC): We are responsible for the design and construction of both the Nuclear and Conventional Islands. This project will power approximately 6 million homes with reliable, low-carbon electricity.
  • Sizewell C (SZC): Work is already well underway on the replication strategy and early design studies, managed through close collaboration between our French and UK engineering hubs.

As part of continued growth and project expansion, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Contract Engineering Lead to support the delivery of complex engineering programmes within a highly regulated environment involved in large-scale, low-carbon infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the main technical point of contact for the client
  • Managing technical interfaces with suppliers (quality, cost, schedule, scope)
  • Reviewing and validating supplier technical documentation
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders (technical leads, system engineers, experts)
  • Managing technical comments and leading clarification meetings
  • Handling contract modifications and assessing impacts
  • Monitoring risks, opportunities, and non-conformities
  • Managing interfaces with internal teams (UK & France)
  • Tracking equipment delivery milestones (DTS)

Profile:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in electrical distribution and technical documentation review
  • Experience in nuclear or industrial environments is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach

Technical Knowledge (nice to have):

  • Electrical standards (RCC-E, NFC, IEC, etc.)
  • Electrical design principles / I&C architecture
  • Experience in complex industrial projects

Languages:

  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • French is strongly preferred (ideally required depending on project context)
