Main responsibilities:
- Supervise welders and welding activities on site.
- Ensure welding is carried out according to approved procedures (WPS).
- Check that welders are using the correct materials, consumables and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily welding work with supervisors and other trades.
- Monitor welding quality and ensure required inspections/NDT are completed.
- Maintain welding records and documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow RAMS/method statements.
- Report defects, unsafe conditions and progress to the site management.
- Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule and quality requirements.
