Due to company growth, Mpeople have a fantastic opportunity available for experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join the team of our well-established client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates will be required to undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check.

Role: Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Ashton Under Lyne

Salary: £35,000

Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays

Duties:

  • Taking part in the manufacturing process
  • Fabricate sheet metal products
  • Key processes include rubber press, hand form and profiling parts
  • Working from technical drawings
  • Operate various hand and power tools
  • Follow in-house processes

Qualifications:

  • Experience within the aerospace industry
  • Time served sheet metal worker with City and Guilds or equivalent
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
