Location: Middleton

Salary: Up to £28,000 (£17.95 per hour / £35,000 pro rata)

Hours of work: Our client is offering flexible hours within a Monday-to-Friday, 9-to-5 framework, allowing you to choose how those 30 hours fit best.

We are excited to be recruiting for a brand-new, part-time role (30 hours per week) on behalf of our client who are a growing import business! They are creating a dedicated compliance specialist position to ensure their products meet GPSR, WEEE, and packaging compliance standards. This part-time role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to shape a vital function in a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and other relevant UK and EU regulations.
  • Manage and maintain technical files and documentation for all products.
  • Coordinate and oversee quality control checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations and proper disposal of electronic waste.
  • Oversee packaging compliance, ensuring that packaging materials meet environmental regulations and are properly labelled.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that products meet all necessary standards before shipment.
  • Stay updated on changes to regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports and certifications to authorities.
