An established and well-regarded legal practice is seeking a Legal Administrator/Secretary to join its busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone, ideally with prior legal support experience who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. This is a highly administrative role, supporting multiple fee earners with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Role
You’ll play a central role in keeping cases moving efficiently, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a range of family law matters. Work is managed digitally via a case management system and dictation tools, so strong IT skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and bundles
- Typing and managing dictation workflows
- Maintaining accurate records using systems
- Liaising with clients and third parties, including handling sensitive situations professionally
- Managing inboxes, diaries, and supporting multiple team members effectively
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within legal
- Strong typing skills (audio typing experience preferred)
