Due to company growth, Mpeople have a fantastic opportunity available for experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join the team of our well-established client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates will be required to undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check.
Role: Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Ashton Under Lyne
Salary: £35,000
Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays
Duties:
- Taking part in the manufacturing process
- Fabricate sheet metal products
- Key processes include rubber press, hand form and profiling parts
- Working from technical drawings
- Operate various hand and power tools
- Follow in-house processes
Qualifications:
- Experience within the aerospace industry
- Time served sheet metal worker with City and Guilds or equivalent
- Ability to work from technical drawings
