Refrigeration Engineer
Teeside area
£35K -£40K plus additional for on call shifts - 40 hours per week plus on call shifts
Out client based in the Yorkshire is actively recruiting for a EXPERIENCED Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Teeside area. The role involves maintaining and diagnosing refrigeration and air conditioning systems across various customer outlets, ensuring smooth operation and maximum uptime. You will work with a team committed to delivering high standards of service and safety, making a tangible difference for clients and their customers.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks for refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
- Diagnose faults and failures effectively, providing solutions promptly and escalating issues where necessary.
- Deliver PPM schedules within agreed timeframes and budgets, maintaining high levels of asset performance.
- Support operational improvements by enhancing first-time fix rates and asset uptime.
- Participate in on-call rotas, including evening and weekend shifts, to ensure continuous service coverage.
- Hold a C&G 2079 F-Gas qualification, including Hydrocarbons experience.
- Possess a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across customer sites in the North East, ideally living in the Teesside area.
- Have significant experience in refrigeration, preferably within the retail or commercial environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
