Mpeople Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our client based in the Droylsden area of Manchester, conveniently located a short drive from Snipe Retail Park.

Location: Droylsden, Manchester

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Sales Administrator who enjoys working in a busy office environment and is confident managing multiple administrative tasks independently. Working within a small office team, you will be responsible for providing efficient sales administration and general office support. You will need to be organised, proactive and able to prioritise your workload while working to deadlines with minimal supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Raising and processing customer invoices
  • Inputting invoices and maintaining accurate records
  • Ordering goods and liaising with suppliers
  • Preparing and processing documents
  • Filing and attaching relevant documentation
  • Data entry and maintaining customer information
  • Diary management and scheduling
  • Processing maintenance renewals
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and responding to general enquiries
  • Providing customer invoicing support
  • Liaising with the engineering team regarding customer requirements and work
  • Preparing costs, quotations and pricing information
  • Following up on outstanding information where required
  • Managing multiple administrative tasks and prioritising workloads
  • Working to tight deadlines and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Administration, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support or similar administrative role. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within sales administration or a similar office-based role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Experience processing sales orders and invoices
  • Confidence dealing with customers and telephone enquiries
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • A proactive approach and strong work ethic
  • The ability to work effectively to deadlines
