Our client, a large accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager from a Practice environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing a number of the larger accounts and delegating accounts and work to more junior members within the team and signing off their work.
Main duties and responsibilities to include
- Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Liaising with clients in relation to tax returns, accounts and other potential issues
- Review of junior members of staff work and sign off for clients
- Management accounts
- Manage a portfolio of self assessments and partnership tax returns to complete each year
- Communicating with clients face to face, over the phone and email
- Extensive tax knowledge – Personal and Corporation
You will ideally need to be CIMA or ACCA qualified.
Have strong proven Accountancy practice experience.
The ability to manage and support a small team.
Work to tight deadlines.
