Location: Oldham, In Person **Experience of working in a car dealership is essential** Mpeople Recruitment are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our clients busy team based in Oldham.
As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience by managing service bookings, coordinating repair work, and keeping customers informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Book and schedule service and repair appointments.
- Prepare accurate estimates and invoices for completed work.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle, including completion times and any unexpected delays.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and communicate any additional work required.
- Contact customers to explain recommended repairs and obtain approval before work is carried out.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional products and services where appropriate.
- Ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks are completed accurately.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience while supporting the overall performance of the service department. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a car dealership is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to build rapport and manage customer expectations professionally.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good attention to detail and administration skills.
- Previous experience of using Kerridge is advantageous.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
