Location: Northwest

Salary: Β£35,000 - Β£38,000 + unlimited optional overtime

Hours: 7am – 4pm Mon – Thurs with an early finish on Friday at 1pm

Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and diagnose faults across electrically powered equipment, including EV trucks and battery-powered handling systems. This is a field-based role requiring occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair a range of electric trucks and lifting equipment
  • Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics off-site
  • Complete timely, detailed service reports
  • Manage van stock
  • Liaise with customers and provide technical recommendations
  • Conduct LOLER inspections and thorough examinations
Requirements
  • Proven field service experience with an electrical bias
  • Strong mechanical and auto-electrical knowledge (AC/DC motors, handling/lifting equipment)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment independently
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Relevant technical certification
