Hours: 7am 4pm Mon Thurs with an early finish on Friday at 1pm
Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and diagnose faults across electrically powered equipment, including EV trucks and battery-powered handling systems. This is a field-based role requiring occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair a range of electric trucks and lifting equipment
- Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics off-site
- Complete timely, detailed service reports
- Manage van stock
- Liaise with customers and provide technical recommendations
- Conduct LOLER inspections and thorough examinations
Requirements
- Proven field service experience with an electrical bias
- Strong mechanical and auto-electrical knowledge (AC/DC motors, handling/lifting equipment)
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment independently
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Relevant technical certification
