We are currently looking to recruit a Sustainability Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about sustainability and textiles, and eager to contribute to our environmental and social responsibility initiatives.
Role Details
- Location: Oldham
- Employment Type: Full Time - 35 Hours
- Salary: £30,000
- Start Date: ASAP
- WFH options available - 2 days Hybrid, 3 days in the office
- Holidays: 23 Days holiday, increasing every year with a maximum of 25 days.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and implementation of sustainability strategies.
- Working closely with suppliers to achieve sustainability targets, i.e. decarbonisation, cotton mapping.
- Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to sustainability goals.
- Assisting on circularity projects within textiles.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives.
- Staying updated on trends, policies, and best practices in sustainability.
Qualifications
- A degree within textiles/business or sustainability is preferred with at least 1 years' experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
