Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a thorough Project Coordinator to join a market-leading manufacturing business based in Middleton (M24). Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised and motivated Project Co-Ordinator to support the planning, delivery and tracking of multiple client manufacturing projects. This is a key role, requiring strong communication, excellent organisation and a determined mindset to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

  • Location: Middleton
  • Salary: up to £40,000
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, & 8.30am – 4.30pm Fridays

Responsibilities would include:

  • Co-ordinate assigned projects from receipt of an order through to production and delivery
  • Plan, monitor and update project schedules, actions and milestones
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Track progress, identify risks and adapt plans as priorities change
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement across processes and ways of working

The desired candidate would have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in a project co-ordination or similar role is essential
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and projects at once
  • Communicate confidently and professionally at all levels
  • Determined, proactive and driven to succeed
  • Able to prioritise your own workload effectively with minimal supervision
  • Able to take ownership of your role and genuinely want to make a positive impact
  • Team player
  • Enquiring mind (ask lots of questions and be aware of what is going on around you)
