Front of House Assistant in Oldham

Front of House Assistant Mpeople Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Front of House Assistant to join a busy hotel and events venue in Oldham. Location: Oldham Hours: 30 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday & Saturday, 12pm–10pm Salary: £21,840 per annum / £14.00 per hour Start: Immediate / next week Driving licence: Essential This is a hands-on role, so it’s not suited to someone looking for a desk-based position. You’ll be out and about around the venue, looking after guests and helping the team wherever needed. You’ll be involved in everything from welcoming guests and managing check-ins, to dealing with enquiries, reservations and complaints. You’ll also help with weddings, corporate events and other functions, as well as working closely with the kitchen and housekeeping teams. We’re looking for someone who: * Has previous experience in hospitality, hotels or events * Is friendly, approachable and confident dealing with guests * Can stay calm and professional when things get busy * Is reliable and punctual * Is comfortable using booking systems and tills/POS * Is happy to get stuck in and help with whatever needs doing * Can work well as part of a team and help keep things running smoothly * Is looking for something long-term where they can grow Due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to everyone.
