SolidWorks Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Design and Quoting: Use SolidWorks to design products and prepare quotes based on customer specifications. Create production assembly documentation during development. Engineering Changes: Incorporate engineering change orders throughout the production process. Order Entry: Enter quotes and orders into the system efficiently. Customer and Supplier Communication: Maintain contact with customers and suppliers to gather information and track job progress. Site Visits: Conduct surveys and oversee installations. Be prepared for occasional overnight stays depending on project requirements. Sales Support: Assist with technical issues and queries to support sales efforts. Qualifications: Degree or HND/C Level in SolidWorks Engineering or a similar field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks. Knowledge of design for manufacture and manufacturing processes, including CNC routing. Personal Passion: Demonstrated interest in engineering, woodworking, or metalwork as a hobby. #J-18808-Ljbffr
