MPC Energy is an established renewable energy company specialising in high-quality solar installations across Scotland. We are looking for an experienced Roofer / Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on the installation of solar panel mounting systems, working closely with other roofing and solar professionals to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient installations. This position does not include electrical work but requires strong experience with roofing and structural components.
- Install solar panel mounting systems on various roof types, including pitched, tiled, flat, and metal roofs
- Assess roof conditions and prepare surfaces for solar panel installation
- Perform waterproofing and sealing to protect the integrity of the roof
- Work collaboratively with electricians and other team members to ensure a smooth installation process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer (solar installation experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and repair techniques
- Physically fit with good balance and manual dexterity
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent qualification
- Working at Heights and Manual Handling certifications preferred
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
