MPB is the world's largest platform for used photo and video kit. We're scaling fast across the UK, US and Europe - and the way our people work, collaborate and use technology needs to scale with us. This role exists to make that happen.

What you'll actually be doing

  • You'll own MPB's digital workplace - the tools, the platforms, the ways of working - and you'll shape what that looks like not just for today, but for where we're heading.
  • Making smart decisions about the technology we use, the vendors we partner with, and the processes that help 550+ people across multiple markets do their best work.
  • Embedding AI-powered tooling across the business, finding the places where it unlocks real efficiency, and helping teams actually use it rather than just having access to it.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across every function to understand what they need and translate that into practical, well-adopted solutions.
  • Managing budgets and vendor relationships with a clear eye on value.
  • Owning the roadmap for workplace technology - keeping it aligned to business goals and ahead of what's coming next.
  • Leading the implementation, integration and optimisation of all centrally-owned workplace tools and platforms - Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Monday.com, Claude, ChatGPT and more.
  • Driving AI adoption across the business - embedding new ways of working that stick.
  • Managing vendor relationships, licences and budgets with a focus on reducing duplication and maximising return on investment.
  • Working within MPB's SaaS Governance Framework to ensure tools are securely onboarded and well governed throughout their lifecycle.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for workplace technology - advising on best practice, spotting new opportunities, and bringing ideas before anyone asks.
  • Partnering with the IT team day to day and with stakeholders across the business to turn requirements into solutions that people actually adopt.

Who you are

  • You've led or managed digital workplace environments before and you know what good looks like - but you're open to doing things differently.
  • You're equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling your sleeves up to deliver.
  • You speak the language of the business as fluently as you speak the language of technology.
  • Stakeholders trust you because you listen before you solve, and because you follow through.
  • You know that the best tool in the world is useless if nobody uses it - and you've got the communication skills and patience to change that.
  • You're genuinely excited about AI and what it means for the way people work.

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience leading digital workplace environments and transformations, ideally across a global or multi-site organisation.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise workplace tools - Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Monday.com, Claude, ChatGPT.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - able to translate business requirements into practical solutions and bring people with you through innovation.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, licensing and budgets with a focus on value.
  • Comfortable using data and metrics to measure tool performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS governance, security and access management.
  • Able to upskill and coach teams on workplace and AI tools in a way that actually lands.
  • Strategic thinker who can also get things done without waiting for permission.
  • Experience integrating tools via APIs and automation platforms is a plus, as are certifications in Google Workspace Admin, Atlassian or ITIL.

  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • 1 wellbeing day off per year.
  • 5% employer contributory pension scheme.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Access to EAP with a range of employee discounts.
