As a Field service engineer you will be supporting the end-user through planned and preventative maintenance contracts, on site training, continuous improvements and full machine analysis improving high level productivity within the pharmaceutical,healthcare,medical device, clean energy and FMCG sectors.
Core Functions
- Provide full line technical support
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and diagnostic activities
- Provide proactive solutions for improved productivity
- Ensure health, safety and welfare is a priority at all times
- Electrical & Mechanical fault finding
- To attend training when necessary
- Liaise with the service team leader and service support engineer on all issues and work progress
- Comply with and monitor health and safety requirements to eliminate or reduce risks.
Core Deliverables
- Provide support in house by responding to issues over the phone, email or online maintaining a detailed report of the requests and processes
- Carry out in depth maintenance processes on time with a ‘right first time’ culture
- Promote after sales services and identify areas of work using technical awareness on site
- Provide detailed written reports of all activities to the service team leader
- Adhere to work health & safety at all times
- Maintain high level customer satisfaction
- Ability to travel world wide at short notice ( UK passport and driving licence are required)
