As we continue to execute our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Corporate Development Manager to join our leadership team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work directly with the CEO, CFO, Board and external advisors to drive strategic initiatives, evaluate acquisition opportunities, support fundraising activities and help deliver long-term shareholder value.

The Opportunity

As Corporate Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing both organic and inorganic growth strategies. You will lead financial and commercial analysis, coordinate M&A transactions, support debt and equity financing activities, and oversee post-acquisition integration programmes across an international business.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded corporate finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on complex, strategic projects with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Corporate Development

  • Identify and assess acquisition, joint venture, partnership and investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate strategic fit, market positioning and value creation potential.
  • Build relationships with advisors, lenders, investors and industry contacts to support growth initiatives.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models and valuations.
  • Conduct DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Assess funding requirements, capital structures and investment returns.
  • Analyse synergies, business cases and growth opportunities.

Debt & Equity Financing

  • Support the structuring and execution of debt facilities, refinancing and acquisition funding.
  • Assist with equity fundraising initiatives and investor engagement.
  • Prepare investment materials, lender presentations and financing documentation.

M&A Transaction Delivery

  • Manage due diligence processes across financial, legal, operational, commercial and tax workstreams.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders through the transaction lifecycle.
  • Support negotiations and transaction execution activities.

Integration & Value Creation

  • Lead post-acquisition integration planning.
  • Develop synergy tracking frameworks and value realisation initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful integration and operational alignment.

About You

We are looking for an accomplished corporate finance or M&A professional with:

  • Significant experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction Services or Strategic Finance.
  • Experience supporting debt financing, equity fundraising or capital markets activities.
  • Proven track record delivering acquisitions, disposals, strategic partnerships or fundraising projects.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, capital structures and investment appraisal techniques.
  • Experience managing complex due diligence programmes and multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous exposure to industrial manufacturing, engineering, automation, capital equipment or related sectors.
  • Experience within an AIM-listed or publicly listed business.
  • International transaction or cross-border financing experience.
  • Knowledge of OEM, automation or industrial technology markets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a dynamic environment.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a business with ambitious growth plans. You'll gain exposure to board-level decision-making, international transactions, strategic financing projects and high-profile M&A activity while working alongside experienced senior leaders.
