The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across our full service portfolio. Acting as a trusted advisor to our customers, you’ll identify, develop and convert new opportunities while nurturing long‑term strategic partnerships. You’ll own the sales journey end‑to‑end – from market insight and campaign development through to tendering, negotiation and contract completion – working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success and outstanding customer experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Building trusted, strategic relationships with customers at all levels
- Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities
- Creating winning sales strategies and leading tenders from initial engagement to close
- Developing and managing strategic key account plans
- Acting as the commercial lead during project implementation phases
- Networking with strategic suppliers to gather market intelligence
- Leading targeted sales campaigns and supporting wider sales team initiatives
- Managing commercial negotiations to maximise GP, cashflow and long‑term value
- Maintaining accurate, visible pipelines through effective CRM use

- Engineering‑related degree or vocational qualification (HNC, HND, apprenticeship)

- Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
