Are you looking for a role away from your traditional, standard Smart Meter Installation? If so, this role could be perfect for you. MPAAS are currently recruiting for an experienced Smart Meter Engineer to work mainly on Warrant work for a number of leading domestic and commercial energy providers.

We are ideally looking for engineers who are 3 phased qualified; however, if you are not, you will be required to go through an upskill programme (provided for by MPAAS). In this role, you will be working closely with a Field Welfare Officer/Locksmith where your job will be to exchange gas/electric meters. We are looking for someone who is heavily customer focused as you could be dealing with vulnerable individuals.

Regarding the below, if you take into consideration your salary, London Weighting, the Health & Safety Bonus and Attendance Bonus, you will be earning up to £49,600 prior to earning any other bonuses. The full breakdown of the package on offer here at MPAAS is as follows:

  • Salary: £44,000 (This includes your £4,000 London Weighting)
  • Attendance Bonus: £300 per month
  • Health & Safety Bonus: £500 per quarter (£2,000 per year)

  • Life Assurance: 2x Life Assurance Policy
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday (No On-Call) 8am-5.30pm

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experienced Smart Meter Engineer with at least 12 months experience
  • Ideally 3 phase (Not essential) - If not 3 phase qualified, you must be willing to go through an upskill programme.
  • Manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Able to pass a basic DBS Check
  • Happy to be away from home for the 1 week induction in Haydock, Merseyside
