MPAAS is an accredited Meter Operator and Meter Asset Manager providing smart meter installation and maintenance services.
Location: Peterborough
Responsibilities:
- Visit customers’ properties to fault find, repair and maintain smart meters.
- Diagnose and repair smart meters, including swapping SIM cards, reprogramming, performing battery resets and recommissioning.
- Communicate with customers, addressing any concerns they may have about their smart meter.
- Travel as required, potentially nationwide; when staying away from home, accommodation will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within the utilities or metering industry is beneficial.
- Full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Ability to travel/work away from home when necessary.
- Manual dexterity to use tools such as screwdrivers and cable cutters.
- Full training will be provided, which will be undertaken during a 1-week programme at our head office in Haydock, Merseyside.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: £32,500 (£35,000 if inside the M25).
- Equipment Provided: Company vehicle and fuel card (business use only), mobile phone, uniform, tools.
- Attendance Bonus: £150 per month.
- Annual Leave: 23 days plus 8 bank holidays; up to a maximum of 25 days annual leave with an incremental service day.
