MPA are recruiting for Band 3 Support Workers in Rathmoyle Adult Centre in Ballycastle. This position will be based in a day centre setting with an immediate start available. The pay rate is £12.31 per hour.The role will involve providing person-centred care and support to service users with a range of additional needs, including physical, learning, and mental health challenges. You will work as part of a dedicated and compassionate team, helping individuals to maintain their independence, engage in meaningful activities, and achieve personal goals within a supportive day centre environment.This is an ongoing position offering long-term potential for the right candidate and offers consistent, family-friendly daytime hours.

Role Responsibilities

  • Providing a high standard of personal care and support to service users
  • Providing assistance at meal times
  • Promoting independence where possible
  • Providing support with mobility
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Communicating with residents and making them feel comfortable

Essential Criteria

  • 6 months’ experience in a similar role
  • NISCC Registered or willingness to apply
  • Willingness to complete training courses
  • Willingness to complete Access NI checks

Desirable Criteria

  • Health and Social Care Qualification
