MPA are recruiting for Band 3 Support Workers for Magherafelt Adult Centre. This position will be based in the day centre setting with an immediate start available. 5 days per week Monday to Friday. The pay rate is £12.31 per hour. The role will involve working with service users with various additional needs. As this position is long-term, this would be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a well-established team with family friendly work hours!
Role Responsibilities
- Providing a high standard of personal care and support to service users
- Providing assistance at meal times
- Promoting independence where possible
- Providing support with mobility
- General housekeeping duties
- Communicating with residents and making them feel comfortable
Essential Criteria
- 6 months’ experience in a similar role
- NISCC Registered or willingness to apply
- Willingness to complete training courses
- Willingness to complete Access NI checks
- Experience working with learning disability needs and/or dementia nursing
Desirable Criteria
- Health and Social Care Qualification

Hours are Monday to Friday 09:15am to 15:30pm, with the additional hours of bus cover if you can which is 08:15am to 16:15pm.
