MPA Ballymena are currently recruiting Registered Staff Nurses to join our growing Healthcare team supporting Care Homes across the Antrim area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified nurses seeking flexibility, competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to work around existing commitments whilst making a real difference to the lives of residents. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high quality, person centred care that meets the social, emotional and physical needs of each individual resident.

The Role
- Deliver high quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
- Create a caring, supportive and safe environment for residents
- Encourage and promote independence wherever possible
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care needs
- Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records
- Administer medication and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Support and supervise care staff where appropriate
- Ensure all policies, procedures and standards are followed
What We're Looking For
- Qualified RGN or SEN
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and patient centred approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering high standards of care
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within a Care Home or Hospital setting
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff
- Experience working within elderly care settings
