MPA Recruitment Omagh is currently recruiting for Skilled Operatives / Labourers to work with a well-established client within the construction and maintenance sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team carrying out essential works across void and tenanted properties, with the potential to move into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Work on void and tenanted properties
- Deliver a professional and respectful service to tenants and clients
- Carry out general construction and maintenance tasks including:
- Kerbing and flagging
- Fencing installation and repair
- Blockwork
- Concreting
- Load, unload, move, secure, and install materials as required
- Operate light and heavy equipment depending on the task and site requirements
- Ensure all work areas are left clean, tidy, and safe at the end of each day
- Work under the direction of site supervisors to meet client requirements
- Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times
- Accurately complete all required site documentation (paper or electronic)
- Undertake any additional duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a construction or labouring role preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Willingness to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments
