Key Responsibilities
  • You'll lead the full production function, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
  • Overseeing day-to-day production operations, ensuring targets for output, quality, and efficiency are consistently met.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Implementing lean manufacturing principles, driving waste reduction, process optimisation, and cost efficiency.
  • Managing production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics, using data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, promoting a safe working environment and continuous safety improvement.
  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and enhance operational performance.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and staffing levels, ensuring optimal utilisation.
  • Driving quality standards, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions to address production issues.
  • Supporting new product introductions, ensuring smooth integration into production.
  • Championing continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging innovation and operational excellence.
  • Reporting regularly to senior management on performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
About You

  • Proven experience as a Pharmaceutical Production Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong people-management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • A track record of improving processes, productivity, and quality.

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.
