MPA Recruitment are recruiting for a Children’s residential Home for children with learning disabilities, complex health needs and who display behaviours which challenge.
What does the job entail?
- Assist with the care and supervision of the children and young people who are resident in the home.
- Work in partnership with the keyworkers to ensure care plans can be developed.
- To work with children/young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcomes.
- To work co-operatively with children’s services, health agencies and other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for the children/young people and carers/families.
- To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Criteria:
- Essential Criteria for Band 4: Hold a level 3 education qualification in care and 1 year’s experience working in a children’s residential setting.
- Registered with NISSC.
- Willingness to do mandatory in-house training.
- Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly.
