Employer: MPA Recruitment working with the local Health & Social Care Trust
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, rota Monday–Sunday - 8am-8.15pm
Main Role: Supporting people in supported living accommodation to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
Typical duties:
- Help tenants with personal care and daily living tasks
- Support with household tasks, bills, and tenancy responsibilities
- Encourage independence and social inclusion
- Attend tenant meetings and support decision-making
- Support health needs and medical appointments
- Report safeguarding concerns
- Work with senior support workers and management
Qualifications needed (one of these):
- Level 2 Health & Social Care + 6 months care experience
- OR 4 GCSEs (including English) + 6 months care experience
- OR 2 years paid care experience
Other requirements:
- Willing to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care within 1 year
- Register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (with disability exceptions)
