Catering Assistants Daisy Hill Hospital
MPA Recruitment are currently recruiting Catering Assistants to work within various departments in Daisy Hill Hospital.
37.5 hours per week in the dining room shifts are 7.30-3.30 & 10.30-6.30 Monday- Friday and additional hours at the weekend when required32.5 hours per week in the dish wash area, 7.30-2.30 & 1.00-8.00 Monday -Friday
This is a busy, hands-on role based primarily within the pot wash and kitchen and dining room areas. The work is physically demanding and will include manual handling, heavy lifting and cleaning large catering equipment.
Maximum 7.5 hours per shift
Working between 3 and 5 days per week

Holiday entitlement
Working within the busy production kitchen and pot wash area
Cleaning large pots, trays and catering equipment
Cleaning kitchen areas and floors in line with cleaning schedules
Delivering food to wards using catering trolleys
Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting safely
Following instructions from Catering Supervisors
Answering telephone calls from wards and accurately recording requests
Working closely with the wider catering team to maintain a safe and efficient service
Good reading, writing and communication skills
Physically able to carry out manual handling and heavy duties
Flexible availability across the required shift times, including weekends
