The Opportunity
MPA Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Joiner / Maintenance Joiner on behalf of an established maintenance contractor based in Castledawson.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering consistent work, a company van and fuel card, and a salary review after six months.
The role involves a variety of joinery, repair and maintenance work across residential properties, including both occupied and vacant homes.
What's On Offer
- £15.00 to £16.10 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Company van and fuel card provided
- Monday to Friday working hours

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
- Installing and repairing doors, kitchens and ironmongery.
- Completing general property maintenance and repairs.
- Undertaking glazing and associated joinery works.
- Working in occupied and vacant residential properties.
- Completing job sheets and relevant documentation.
- Maintaining safe working practices and providing a professional service to tenants and clients.
What We're Looking For
- Time served or suitably qualified Joiner.
- Experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
- Previous maintenance or property repair experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid CSR Card, or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to participate in a rotational out of hours callout rota.
- Willingness to complete an Access NI check. A criminal record will not automatically prevent employment.
