MPA Recruitment is urgently inviting applications for an experienced and reliable Band 3 Cook to join the catering team at Lisgarel in Larne for immediate start. Lisgarel Residential Unit requires immediate cook cover to maintain essential meal provision for 16 residential residents and 40 Day Centre service user meals daily.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high quality meals in a healthcare environment and can work confidently within established food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, cook and present a range of meals to a consistently high standard.
- Follow national nutritional guidelines and Trust food hygiene procedures.
- Support the delivery of meals to residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well organised working environment.
- Work effectively as part of the catering team to meet service targets and mealtime schedules.
- Qualifications: City and Guilds 706/01 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent OR a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Cook or Cook in the public or private sector.
- Training: Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Certificate or equivalent.
- Monday to Sunday
- 30 hours - 37.5 hours
- £12.75 - £21.55
