MPA are currently recruiting a Temporary Ongoing Kitchen Assistant, required for work in nursing homes, residential and supported living settings in the Derry/Londonderry area. Hours of work are 9am-5pm / 8am-7pm.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation of excellent quality meals within the setting.
  • Prepare dining areas to create a safe environment.
  • Maintain a clean hazard free kitchen and dining area in order to minimise risks in accordance with Health and Safety.
  • Work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
  • General Cleaning Duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.
  • Flexible Attitude to Work Hours.
  • Willing to undergo Access NI clearance (police check).
  • Experience in a kitchen would be desirable.
