We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing engineering company based in Kilrea, and are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team.

Position: Welder

Location: Kilrea

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:15pm

Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

This position is for 3 weeks initially but could potentially lead to something longer term.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years' welding experience
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience with MIG welding (other welding experience beneficial)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping and a positive work ethic

Duties:

  • Welding and fabrication of engineering components and assemblies
  • Working to technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
  • Carrying out quality checks on completed work
