We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing engineering company based in Kilrea, and are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team.
Position: Welder
Location: Kilrea
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:15pm
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
This position is for 3 weeks initially but could potentially lead to something longer term.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years' welding experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience with MIG welding (other welding experience beneficial)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and a positive work ethic
Duties:
- Welding and fabrication of engineering components and assemblies
- Working to technical drawings and specifications
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work
