MPA Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the Northern Health & Social Care Trust for Information Assistants to join their busy Information & Records Team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with administration, clerical or data entry experience to gain valuable experience within the Health Service.

As an Information Assistant, you will support the management of healthcare information systems, ensuring data is accurately recorded, maintained and reported. You will work closely with colleagues across the Trust, providing administrative and information support to help deliver an efficient service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input and maintain data across a range of information systems
  • Process information accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Produce routine and ad hoc reports using Microsoft Office packages
  • Monitor data quality and investigate discrepancies
  • Provide support and guidance to system users
  • Handle telephone enquiries and respond to queries professionally
  • Distribute information and documentation to healthcare professionals
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, mail processing, diary management and meeting arrangements
  • Assist the Information & Records Team with day to day operational duties
Essential Criteria

Applicants must have: 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent) or GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent) plus at least 1 year's clerical or administrative experience in an office environment.
