MPA Recruitment are currently recruiting Care Assistants to join our experienced healthcare team in the Antrim area . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, reliable and passionate about making a real difference to residents’ lives. The role is based within a nursing home setting , with immediate starts available and flexible working hours during the day to suit your availability. You will work closely with nurses and the wider care team to provide a high standard of support, helping residents feel safe, comfortable and respected each day. What’s in it for you? Pay rate of £12.75–£21.55 per hour, depending on shift Enhanced bank holiday rates Weekly pay Flexible working — choose your own hours Full-time and part-time hours available Holiday allowance Pension scheme Refer a friend scheme A day in the life of a Care Assistant As a Care Assistant, you’ll support residents with their daily routines, including personal care, mobility, mealtimes and making sure they feel comfortable throughout the day. You’ll also provide companionship, reassurance and a friendly face, helping residents feel valued and cared for. Working alongside nurses and the wider care team, you’ll play an important part in delivering safe, respectful and high-quality care. Role responsibilities Providing a high standard of personal care to residents Supporting residents with washing, dressing and daily routines Assisting at mealtimes and recording food/fluid intake Promoting independence where possible Supporting residents with mobility Making beds and helping maintain a comfortable environment Communicating with residents in a warm, respectful and reassuring way Working closely with nurses and the wider care team Essential criteria Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar care role NISCC registered or willing to apply Willingness to complete required training courses Willingness to complete Access NI checks A caring, patient and reliable approach Desirable criteria Health and Social Care qualification Interested?
