We are seeking a SHEQ Advisor to ensure products and services meet legal and customer requirements. You will maintain and develop ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 systems and support compliance across Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental, and Quality functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Quality & Environmental Management Systems
- Monitor and report on quality, environmental, health & safety, and fire safety compliance
- Manage audits, risk assessments, training, and corrective/preventive actions
- Capture and follow up on complaints, non-conformances, and non-compliances
- Analyse quality data and recommend improvements
- Implement business improvement tools (e.g., 5S, Lean, performance improvement)
- Manage external certification and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain SHEQ documentation, policies, and records
- Support accident investigation, RIDDOR reporting, and reoccurrence prevention
- Liaise with contractors to ensure RAMS/CPP and inductions are in place
- Identify and deliver SHEQ training and development needs
Experience
- Experience in Quality, Health & Safety, or Environmental coordination
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards
- Practical experience in internal auditing and corrective action follow-up
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel
- Full driving licence
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Member of an appropriate chartered institute
