We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a busy maintenance team operating across the Derry/Londonderry area.
This is an excellent temporary opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality plumbing maintenance and repair services across a range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance on both void and occupied properties.
- Diagnosing faults in domestic plumbing and heating systems.
- Completing repairs, replacements and servicing of plumbing systems.
- Installing sanitary ware including toilets, baths, basins and cold water storage systems.
- Carrying out Legionella testing where required.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional service.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Leaving work areas clean, tidy and safe on completion of each job.
- Completing all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately and on time.
- Following health and safety procedures, industry regulations and company policies at all times.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties required to support the maintenance team.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Time-served Plumber or hold a recognised plumbing qualification with relevant practical experience.
- Previous experience working within the construction or maintenance sector.
- Good knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Valid CSR Card.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working within the social housing sector.
- Experience using a PDA, smartphone or mobile working device for job management.
- Access NI clearance (or willingness to obtain).
