We are seeking a motivated and organised Clerical Officer to join a public sector team. This role requires excellent customer service and efficient administrative support within a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Handle initial enquiries
- Register new applications and maintain accurate records
- Support team with administrative duties including data entry and filing
- Take minutes at weekly team meetings
- Assist with general office duties and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide occasional reception/counter cover during staff absences
Essential Criteria
- GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Basic IT proficiency
