On behalf of our Client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, MPA Recruitment welcomes suitable applications for the role of Clerical Officer in the Belfast Area.

Location: Adelaide Street, Belfast

Hours of work: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)

Salary range: £12.65

Your Duties:

  • Responding to Inquiries: Efficiently handling queries via Telephone, Webchat, and E-mail. Strong telephony skills required.
  • Data Management: Performing data entry across various systems. This includes updating records, maintaining databases, and handling customer information with care.
  • Confidential Document Management: Responsible for the meticulous scanning, filing, and organisation of confidential documents. Adhering to strict protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting in various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and supporting the smooth functioning of the organisation.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Applying discretion and judgement within defined parameters to resolve issues and make decisions related to day-to-day tasks.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Following established protocols, guidelines, and policies to maintain compliance and confidentiality in all tasks performed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile:

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • At least four GCSEs including Maths and English.
  • IT/Microsoft Office Proficiency at a beginner level.
  • Strong telephony skills required.

Additional Information: A Basic Access NI Check is Required at a cost of £16.
