This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and organised hospitality professional to lead a busy kitchen operation, ensuring exceptional food quality, high standards of hygiene, and an efficient, motivated team.

The Role

As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen, overseeing all aspects of food preparation, staffing, stock control, and compliance with food safety regulations. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for guests while maintaining a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of a busy hotel kitchen.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships.
  • Control food costs and minimise waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health and safety legislation.
  • Work closely with management to develop menus and maintain service standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role.
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
