MPA Recruitment, Coleraine is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established hotel on the beautiful North Coast for an experienced Chef de Partie. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic chef to join a busy kitchen team, preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional food hygiene and presentation standards.

The Role

  • As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
  • You will work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Manage your assigned section and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager in delivering excellent service.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in line with recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
  • Assist with stock rotation, ordering and minimising food waste.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
  • A passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong team player with a positive and professional attitude.
