About the Role: MPA Recruitment, on behalf of our client, are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work across a range of healthcare and public sector settings in Belfast. This role involves supporting kitchen and catering teams to deliver high-quality meal services while maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. The successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals in line with set menus
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness at all times
- Support kitchen operations including dishwashing, cleaning, and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and infection control procedures
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Work efficiently as part of a team to deliver a quality catering service

- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- An enhanced Access NI disclosure will be required for this post.
