Hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Dietitian to join a well-established Community Diabetes Team based at Knockbreda Health & Wellbeing Centre, Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Dietitian with a strong background in diabetes management to work within a supportive multidisciplinary community setting, delivering high-quality patient‑centred care.
The Role
As a Band 6 Dietitian, you will:
- Provide specialist dietary advice and support to patients with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes
- Deliver structured education, lifestyle interventions and nutritional assessments
- Work closely with the wider MDT including diabetes specialist nurses, consultants, and other allied health professionals
- Support patients in managing weight, blood glucose control, cardiovascular risk and medication‑related dietary needs
- Contribute to service development and audit work where required
Essential Criteria
- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Proven experience working with diabetes patients (community or acute)
- Ability to work independently and as part of an MDT
- trong communication and patient education skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
