The Role: As a Band 2 Clerical Officer, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Children’s SLT team, helping to ensure the department operates efficiently and provides an effective service to patients and staff.
Duties may include:
- Providing general administrative and clerical support
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
- Managing correspondence and documentation
- Updating and maintaining records and databases
- Filing and processing paperwork
- Arranging appointments and supporting diary management
- Liaising with patients, parents/guardians and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and confidentially
- Carrying out other general administrative duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is desirable
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Confident using IT and Microsoft Office systems
- Professional and approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Reliable and punctual
