MPA Ballymena are currently supporting the NHSCT and are recruiting a Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer to work in Ballymena Area. The role provides administrative support, including managing records, correspondence, enquiries, reports and NHSCT systems. It also involves supporting office operations, liaising with others, maintaining confidentiality and following Trust policies. Working hours between 30 and 37.5 a week. Can be discussed.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Input, retrieve, extract and report information from NHSCT computerised, electronic and manual systems.
- Manage departmental correspondence, including mail, emails, telephone enquiries and messages.
- Liaise professionally with outside agencies, other departments and internal/external contacts.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, filing systems, shared drives, spreadsheets and databases.
- Provide general administrative support, including preparing files, office cover and supporting workload pressures.
- Manage office resources such as petty cash, stock, procurement requests, equipment and machinery.
- Support team working by maintaining positive staff relationships, participating in training and assisting with staff assessment where required.
- Follow Trust policies on confidentiality, equality, records management, technology use and carry out other duties as directed.
Qualifications/Experience
- 3 GCSEs (Grades A-C) to include English Language or equivalent.
- 1 year’s paid clerical experience in an office environment to include the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages.
