We are a well-established steel fabrication company currently seeking a General Operative to join our busy workshop team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.

- Position: General Operative
- Hours: 38 hours per week
- Working Hours: 7:00am – 5:15pm
- Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled fabricators and welders
- Handling steel materials and components
- General workshop duties including cleaning and maintenance
- Loading and unloading materials
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Good health & safety awareness
- Use of tools
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift experience
