Care Assistant | One to One Night Duty | Ballymena
£13.30 to £15.25 per hour | Weekly pay

MPA Recruitment is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to provide one to one support within care homes in the Ballymena area.
Whether you are looking for regular agency work or one or two additional shifts each week, we can discuss opportunities to suit your availability.
What Is On Offer?
- £13.30 to £15.25 per hour, depending on the shift worked
- Weekly pay
- Flexible night shifts
- Typical shift times: 7pm to 7am, 8pm to 8am and 10pm to 10am

What You Will Be Doing
- Providing dedicated one to one support throughout the night
- Assisting with personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy
- Supporting mobility in line with individual care plans and training
- Assisting with food and drinks as required
- Offering companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Promoting a safe, calm and comfortable environment
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns to the appropriate member of staff
- Working closely with the wider care team
- Maintaining accurate care records and providing clear handovers
Assignments may include support for individuals living with dementia or learning disabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- At least six months' paid care experience within the last five years
- Current NISCC registration
- Right to work in the UK
- A caring, dependable and professional approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
